Any thoughts?
So you have a Romeo and Juliet scenario. Romeo declares his undying love, Juliet starts making plans for the future. Romeo discloses that his visa expired 6 years ago, (he was 18, absent minded and didn't figure it was all that important) and if he goes home to visit his parents, he can never return, short of border jumping and probably getting shot. Juliet would probably marry Romeo, but this idea has been completely foriegn for so long it scares the hell out of her.

He has managed to stay here this long, if he really loves you he can wait 6 months before marrying you to stabilize his legal stats.

Okay, I would like to amend my earlier statements made for Chemska. I've talked to her and realize I thought that she was getting married and running a way to Mexico. If you want to go to mexico with this guy that could be fun. However, I suggest that you make sure you can keep in touch with us and continue to live by yourself when your down there. It's really weird how people change when the go back to a place they've been away from for so long. It might make him "realize" that asking you things is not good and its better for him to "tell" you things and yada yada yada.
But many of my professers advocate working for a while in another country as an excellent experience. But wait to marry the guy. If you want help moving to mexico just give me a call.
