Something cool
Here is a LINK to a cool story about a civilization that was destroyed less than two hundred years ago, suddenly and completely.
I can't believe something like this can have happened so recently. I remember reading a story in grade school about riding in a wicker house attached to hot air baloons and discovering lost civilizations. This brought the memory back to me.

In responce to Greg's post.
That's pretty sweet Greg. I love how in the article the volcano is "blamed" for 88,000 deaths. Like the volcano gives a fuck, or is on trial for something. That reminds me of a story about a king who condemed the sea for not bending to his will. Was that you or on the history channel? I think it might have been PBS. Anyway he "chastized" the ocean by "branding" it. He then drowned the soilders who giggled at him.
And I just need to say this completely unrelated thing:
As Greg as my witness I WILL make Perl:CGI my web BITCH!!!!
So how has Perl been treating you, darling? hee hee
Be sure to eat her before she eats you.
